I love going to Stade's Farm and bringing my family with. The only thing that was negative was a very rude employee checking people going back in. I had my wrist band visible and she yelled in a rude tone at me "do you have a wristband, oh yeah ok" I am very respectful and just expect the same in return. Other then that all other employees were super friendly and you have so much for the kids to do! See you next year!

Our apologies if you felt you were treated with a rude tone. No excuses, but it isn't always easy to see the wristband and the gate person may have missed it and then realized you had one on at the last second. Again, our apologies 😊
So much to do for all ages. We all had a great time and will be back next year!!
It was definitely a little pricey for adults, seeing that we just chase the kids all day. That being said I enjoyed everything they had to offer,10x better then that hole goberts.

Great for families w/ young kids, lots to do! I don't think the petting zoo should be inside the area where all the childrens activities are: $15 pp to enter. My 15 yr old & I just wanted 2 get some yummy fall treats & pet animals, but not bad enough to pay $30 considering we had 0 interest in the rest of the kiddie options. The apple doughnuts were not fresh but the kettle corn was! Great prices on decorative gourds but pricey pumpkins.
I just wish that the amusement park area was less expensive. There's not that much you can do if you can't go in there. But the staff is very friendly and very professional.
Excellent produce and apple cider donuts. Wish we'd moved here sooner in the summer. Also love the Newfoundlands.
Perfect fall family fun! Plenty to keep the little ones entertained. Find the entrance fee a bit expensive for the Age 2-5 crowd that only last a couple hours before an exhausted meltdown occurs. And, a full fee for each adult that just want to see a smile on their grandkid's face? Despite the fee structure, still go every year, because, when said and done, it's worth it!

I love coming to Stades! We are from the local area and know so many people there which always makes the experience even better! My daughter Uncle (Junior) drives one of the Hay Rides to the pumpkin patch so we were able to get on his wagon and she even got to drive which was truly the highlight of her day, well that and the adorable pig! I do like that there are a lot of things for kids and adults to do together but my only complaint would be that I wish there was a "supervision" or "guardian" wristband for adults who can't... read more
One of the best varieties of seasonally grown farm fresh produce in northern Illinois . When you go be sure the get the doughnuts.
