We took our (almost) 5 month old there today and we absolutely loved it. Everyone is so incredibly kind, the land is gorgeous, and the market is charming. I highly recommend everyone go check it out. The market is seriously awesome. I was so excited to see all of the natural items they sold. We bought two pies, spaghetti sauce, two slushees, and four berry jam! So delicious!

Rude people. Was told on two occasions they were worried I would steal berries. Couldn’t buy a small bucket for my daughter and I. Needed to buy two buckets “so I didn’t eat a bunch of berries while my 8-year-old picked berries. Told my party of 10 couldn’t utilize a wagon because we didn’t purchase enough large buckets. Saw multiple others pulling kids in wagons with small berry containers. Couldn’t carry strawberry bucket into the raspberry patch because they were worried I’d steal raspberries, even though there’s only one... read more

We are sorry your experience didn't meet your expectations. We do have guidelines for our employees to follow, and honestly, we don't know why they would have been rude to you. The minimum purchase is $5 pp, so if your comment is understood correctly, one small bucket doesn't cover two people and we do have separate picking containers for raspberries and strawberries. We have been coming for the last few years since we moved to the area. We love coming for strawberries, raspberries, peas, peppers, apples and all of the amazing finds in the market. Staff are very kind and helpful when picking your own, and give helpful hints to find the best and ripest fruit! We'll be back next week for raspberries!

Strawberry picking at Stade’s is our annual tradition. We miss the playground this year but the strawberry donuts and slushies have never been better! Thank you for another great memory!
