I’m so sad to see Dr. Oommen leave Matlock OBGYN! She has been my dr for a few years now! I absolutely loved having her as my dr and literally trust her with my life! She is extremely through during appointments, explained everything to me as best as she could while I was pregnant with all my appointments and check ups. Dr Oommen delivered my daughter via C-section and the process was smooth, healing was fast and my scar looks amazing and minimal. She’s also an awesome mother and I wish her luck on her next journey!
If I could give no stars I absolutely would, I don't recommend this woman to my worst enemy! All these "good/5 star" reviews are altered! My whole pregnancy I wasn't taken serious when I would complain, rather I was told I'm just pregnant with twins and would be sent home. I just gave birth to my twins May 2nd, and as a black woman I experience/experienced ill treatment! Dr. Oommen has the absolute best bedside manner! I have been going to Matlock Obgyn since 2006 and Dr Cornwell was my dr. When she retired, I felt like I wouldn't find anyone quite like her. I was wrong, Dr. Oommen has always been on point and so caring and educates me extremely well.
