Not even a stray dog would come back to this place. I had the Saturday night special, chicken fried steak. Wife had the hot roast beef. The chicken fried steak tasted like some of the most rancid fry oil I've ever had. No part of this so-called steak ever resembled steak. It looked more like and had the texture of beef liver. Wife's hot beef looked pale, but at least looked like meat. Her comment was more like hospital or retirement home food. Had a great experience at Stack and Steak. Ordered the waffles and bacon, and they were delicious—fresh, well-cooked, and hit the spot. The service was excellent; the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. It’s a cozy, family-run spot that deserves more attention.
