Renter beware, I moved my belongings into stacking store in Patterson, New York. In 15 months they raised my rate four times doubling the rent. Each time discussing the rent increase as unreasonable. Each time they negotiated with me however my rent went up 200% in 15 months They tease you with a low rent introductory offer and then every four months you get a rent increase.. I removed my belongings and took them elsewhere. I do not recommend stacking and store Patterson, New York.

Our experience with this Stack n Stor location has been stellar. Very easy and quick process to reserve a unit online and then complete check in at the location. Very safe, gated property with access to the storage unit area using a key fob. You will need your own lock to secure your unit but they sell them in the office if you forget. The woman who checked us in was very nice. The facility is clean and well kept. On one of our move days, we met the manager who was cleaning the floors and was super friendly. Clean, and climate controlled. Easy access. The only negative is that once they get you in, and all your stuff is in the unit, corporate starts jacking up rates significantly after the initial come-on (the reason this isn't a 5-star review). It would be better if rent $$$ were more stable. It would also be good if they offered a senior discount (they don't), though veterans do get a modest discount. On-site staff are very helpful.
