Johneen has been my EMDR therapist for the past several months and she is an amazing therapist that has helped me heal so much. I highly recommend her. I didn’t know what trauma tension was and how it can be stored all over the body. I learned about trauma tension as I was able to heal from it. I'm re-writing this. I can't stop thinking about the session I had with her. I'll try to keep this breif but overall I felt unheard, and invalidated. When I had gotten there she acted almost put out that I even showed up (all the lights were off and she silently turned them all back on) I informed her of my family/relational trauma and she questioned me on whether it was even traumatic, which I found wholly unprofessional.
