My grandfather went for an initial appointment after waiting 5 weeks, this was a stat appointment...The physician dismissed all of the symptoms. Was extremely quick to state the all symptoms that he experienced were signs of an old stroke. Completely disregarded the results that were recently completed, stated it was old and refused to help. So rude. Did not communicate to the patient and keep looking down when speaking. Would not recommend for anyone.
Dr. Gruber is mine and my sons Neuro. She's is wonderful.. she's very compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, and takes her time with our appts. She listens to concerns and always helps with my sons needs or is disabled. I highly recommend her.
I had my first visit with Dr. Gruber and she spent time with me and made sure all my questions were answered. She sent me for tests right away and when the radiologist had some concerns she called me right away to assure me that she would get the images and look at them. Once she got them and evaluated them she notified me right away about her findings. She is very caring and knew that I was worried and acted quickly to get me the answers. She is very knowledgeable and doesn't treat her patient's like just another a number!
I've had 2 old strokes that showed up on mri but never heard about my cerebellum till I saw Dr. Gruber. I can't use my left side and have tremors in my hand and arm. She ordered some new tests that I never even had before.
My husband Saw Dr Gruber for severe headaches and dizziness 7 weeks after a bad accident ( that was the soonest appointment). She gave him meds and a referral for PT for the dizziness. 5 days later, my husband was experiencing slurring of his speech, . Difficulty speaking and some coordination issues. Called her and was told to discontinue meds for 3 days then call her back. 2 days later it was so bad we went to the ER and he had a brain bleed from the accident and had surgery to evacuate the blood.
