I would not recommend Dr Gruber, she didn't help me and seamed annoyed that i asked her for help with my chronic migraines. She said she would have to stay late to do her paperwork to try and get a migraine medicine approved for me and didn't seam to want to do the paperwork.
I have seldom run into a doctor so kind, so helpful, so respectful or actually so bright! Dr. Gruber really knew how to explain things and she talked to me as an equal partner in my health care. I cannot recommend her any higher because she was reassuring, respectful of my decisions, and so present every moment. Excellent!
In all of my years of visiting doctors, I have never encountered one with more rigidity, condescension, or callousness than Dr. Gruber. My wife initially saw her over a year ago due to a chronic illness affecting her balance, memory, coordination, and neuropathy. Dr. Gruber decided that my wife had migraines and prescribed a medication that did not mitigate her symptoms but compounded them with unpleasant side effects. This doctor demonstrated a concerning lack of understanding regarding the fundamental principles of brain and central nervous system function. She failed to grasp the well-documented concept of receptor downregulation and its potential to produce mental health symptoms as a secondary effect. Recommending a structural MRI for what is clearly a functional brain injury underscores her limited knowledge, as such imaging would fail to reveal relevant findings and unnecessarily expose the patient to additional radiation.
