Waited over an hour to see the doc. She was soooo rude. She wouldn’t listen. Said things like “ I can’t put words in you mouth just describe your pain “ WHILE IM SITTING THERE TRYING TO TELL HER MY PAIN. She kept cutting me off. I gave her my ER notes she didn’t even listen to me. I felt so uncomfortable. My gut told me to leave 3 TIMES. I should have listened to myself. After 10 min of interrogation. I would not recommend Dr. Stacea Bowen’s WPB location. I made an appointment online and received an email confirmation for my appointment. However, when I arrived I was told that they didn’t have my appointment on their schedule and would I have to reschedule for a later date. I’ve been to this location multiple times and I’m always disappointed at their lack of organization.

I would not recommend Dr. Bowen if you are seeking a salpingectomy and do not already have children. She refused to do the procedure for me, offering tubal ligation only, despite a rare genetic disease which I do not want to pass on. Dr. Bowen also told me that insurance wouldn't cover salpingectomy without proven risk for cervical cancer, which simply isn't true.
