Ann H This place has the nicest selection of plants that I've seen. The prices are always good. You can tell the plantsare taken care of because they always look good. The staff has always been helpful. Can't wait for spring so I can work on my yard
Nice place, good prices This place is really nice. They have a big selection and great prices also. The staff is very friendly and they help you find whatever it is that you are looking for.
The Stables is A Good Center The Stables have two other locations on Long Island and specialize in local plants. I have found the plants to be hearty and some nice varieties of flowers and fruits are carried by the Stables, as well as some trees. The staff is helpful and the environment is informal and open. Although not fancy, the Stables offers a good selection of plants and flowers that flourish in the local soil and environment. My family and I have shopped here for years and have been quite satisfied overall.
We love Stables Their 5 step lawn care system is the best. Our lawn has never been greener or healthier. I also buy most of my flowers here. They always have a good variety
garden supplies This is a local nursery for all your gardening needs. They have different flowers and trees for every season. A couple of years ago we bought soem lilacs bushes there and they are doing great. All of their stock is grown locally so it does better than buying from soemplace that ships it in. Right now they have all the fall specialities, including mums, pupmkins, gourds and corn stalks. All you need to make a nice fall display. We like this location, but they do have a couple others on Long Island also.
