My now wife and I entered into a contract with Stabilt Construction for the reconstruction and renovation of our house during the 2007/2008 timeframe. The contract provided for a fixed fee, and required substantial completion within a certain amount of time. The project was mired in delays and Stabilt failed to complete the work in a timely fashion.
