Waited almost 4 hours for my name to be called just to be moved into a section full of nurses and doctors to sit down and wait some more. I do not recommend this place for any emergencies if you can go to urgent care or another hospital.
The most worse hospital ever see in my life , on 08/01/2025 we bring my dad with very bad pain on his sublingual glands , we was waiting for four and half hours they never taking care him, they don’t care about patient , after 4 and half hours we ended leaving to Norwalk hospital (best hospital ever ) soon we get there they give us a room , they did blood test , cast can and of course pain medication, we get the result in least then 4 hours . Finding yourself at the hospital is never a good thing, but I wanted to write a review because the rating of this hospital is low and it almost deterred me from going. Our healthcare system in the US certainly has its flaws, and this hospital is no different. It is due for a refresh, and the wait time was SHOCKINGLY long. I came in for surgery & called to get the name of the provider & was told it’s a violation of HIPPA & I had to come in to get that information. It is not a violation of HIPPA i am the patient & by law can know who worked on me. I drove an hour away for them to tell me that they can’t tell me the name of the provider. The receptionists need to be retrained on HIPPA & how to deal with questions.
