I had total hip replacement on September 24, 2019 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. I was anxious for months to have this surgery. From admissions to discharge in 2 1/2 days, they were all wonderful. Caring, concerned and everyone knew their business. The nursing staff were all kind, considerate and performed their work with professionalism and my doctor was beyond excellent. Can't say enough good about St. Vincent's Medical Center.
My surgeon and anesthesiologist were excellent, as were most of the nursing staff. A nurse weighed me and my weight showed as 54.3 on the digital scale. The nurse told me that it was not pounds. Apparently, she thought I was stupid enough to believe that I weighed 54 pounds. The worst part of my hospital stay was being transported from the recovery room to the front door.
