The emergency care itself is good, but there is no proper queue management system for triage. Overall, it's unclear where each person is in the process, so it's easy for someone to go ahead of others. Today, I experienced someone who arrived after me but went straight to the triage nurse ahead of me. If they were assessed as a more urgent case, that's completely understandable. Came in for debilitating nausea, Triage nurse Sonny was so sympathetic, and had me seen within 2 hours. All nurses were incredible n really cared about my situation and what they could do to help the most. God bless these people for their tireless work round the clock. I won’t forget the care I received!

Went in with not being able to move my shoulder and needed to be seen, i said i was okay to wait. The triage nurse told me that the hospital was for emergencies only after not letting me finish explaining what happened. She said everything to try and get me to go somewhere else. Then i said it’s okay don’t worry about it, she then backtracked and said “no no it’s fine we can see you but you will be waiting a while”.
