The administration staff, doctors and nurses are extremely kind, patient and skilled. They answered all my questions and explained procedures. Thank you St Vincent’s for your care and pleasant demeanour. Joan
Ultrasound technician was lovely. The reason for the 1 star is the medical reception staff. Rude over the phone and in person, make you feel like you're some sort of inconvenience.
Extremely rude staff, need training in customer service. Lack empathy, no eye contact whilst communicating with patients. Gastro advised my father in law to get a scan and he was supposed to fast till the time the imaging was done. Imaging unit send him back saying that he hadn't been given the pre medication that was required for the scan. When he was brought back to the imaging department they said that they had forgotten to inform us that they had run out of the dye that was needed for his scan. Extremely rude receptionist today. Could use some training in customer service. Less eye rolls, sighing and attitude more listening, compassion and understanding would be a good start.
