They round up with your total. Never in my life have I heard of a business rounding up, especially used clothes. My weight total was 1.75 pounds, they charge $2.49 per pound, which should equal out to about $4.35. They charged me $5, yes I am writing this rant over .65 cents, it is about the principle. I often buy single mtg cards which cost around .25 per card. I could have gotten almost 3 cards of my choice if they didn’t decide to round up. This St. Vincent de Paul has completely lost what made thrifting fun. They pick through donations before customers ever get a chance to shop, pulling out the best items and leaving overpriced leftover garbage in the bins. The thrill of finding hidden gems is basically gone. The prices don’t help either. They’re charging far too much for clothing that was donated for free, even when it’s stained, faded, or damaged.
