I lived here and the property was not very well taken care of. The association ripped out the ice plant that had been holding up the hillside since it was built, and replaced it with flowers that you don't see holding up freeways. I'm surprised it's still standing. One can see the basement poking through the hill die to erosion
At the St Regis the views are amazing, proximity to the beach & bike path is great, but the issues are endless. short version: a no-frill cheap beach-front living, in unsafe tweaker-town. If you’re low maintenance and your expectations of shady DTLBC & a building that’s a century old are realistic you might like it here. The building has major electrical & plumbing issues so basic comforts like AC, heat, dishwashers or disposals are not a thing.
