Corrupt corrupt, corrupt. I got one pill & ex rays of my neck and the St. pete general - HCA bill was $56 THOUSAND DOLLARS. This corporate corruption is HUGE reason why our car insurance rates are sky high. Yes, for one pill , and zero treatment that’s what this evil business charged me. My car insurance paid out 25 THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR ZERO TREATMENT. AND OUR Florida government allows this raping of the public to go on. UNBELIEVABLE .
on jan 4,2024, went to st.peterburg general hospital. i have a bad headache, and my gastritis stared and bad pain in my right arm. and i told the doctor whats wrong with me and told him what i can have and what i cant have. but he not listen to me. hr whated to give me medicine i told him i cant have, he told me to try it any way,and they have to treat me in the waiting room. so i left.because if im going to be sick . im going home.this hospital makes me sick more. one time i love this hospital. no it went to the dogs

NON Essential bipolar ER nurse Donnell B. was very rude, NASTY and disrespectful! Left a bloody needle on the chair next to bed which I almost sat on. Refused to answer any of my questions, condescending, very combative. forgot collect urine sample from patient then acted as if it was my fault. Did not keep and eye on vitals and almost administered BP meds before doing checking BP. HORRIBLE STAFFING RATIOS!!! HCA is a terrible company. Doesn’t care about patients or staff. Nurses are constantly at risk of losing their nursing license due to inadequate staff, minimal ancillary staff and lack of on site ICU MD/DO/LIP 24/7!
Call from the Hospital.... “When you arrive tomorrow, we will collect a payment for $629, your “Estimated cost” if you pay today, we will give you a 20% discount “ I call the insurance company, no inquiries made.....they are not even aware of the procedure....... My deductible is met and my out of pocket maximum is $1,500 of which $900 is already met. ????? So, if I pay them before surgery, and the doctor bills first...... the hospital will now owe me!!!!!!! I have gone to get a test done, was quoted one cash price few weeks later, I get another bill says that I still owe 98 dollars..after arguing, you get no where, they have 101 excuses and answers. I decided to just pay as much as I can afford considering the circumstances, the virus, no work, no money, no unemployment, one stimulus check in 5 months, which bill to pay first.... I have been unsuccessful in getting updates on my father who was admitted last week, 07/01/2020, due to COVID. I realize everyone is struggling and doing their best. I appreciate the efforts of everyone. My siblings and I need answers and we are not getting them. We are beyond frustrated. No one answers the phone on the floor he is on. When I call the main desk and ask to speak with a patient advocate or to be able to lodge a complaint I get sent to a phone tree. Is that the standard of care my father is getting as well?
