John is a great guy. Very helpful. Yes - it is not a flashy bike shop selling $5000 carbon bikes. I regularly pickup old bike parts at very reasonable prices that you just cant source from anywhere else. There are a few bike shops in my area that will offer you coffee and bottled water when you step in through their doors - guess what ? One bolt that is 25 cents on ebay - they will charge you $2 each to cover your "free coffee". With John, you get honest old fashioned service. New parts cheaper than elsewhere, great for really cheap second hand parts, if you are a type of person happy to get your hands dirty searching through a bin of parts then this is close to heaven.
