My mother has been living in the Independent Living section of St. Paul's since Sept. 2023. In Dec. 2023, admin tried to increase my mom's rent by $800 (27%). Thankfully my brother was able to advocate for her and get the issue resolved. A member of St. Paul's staff called me to today and called this incident a "mistake". I'm not sure I believe that and feel as if my brother wasn't able to spend an entire day at the location talking to people, the increase would have happened.
