My father, Charles Giles, stayed in this facility for a year. He moved out just before covid in November of 2019 (thank God). I would not recommend this facility for your parents or elderly friend's. The hairdresser that has been working there for years befriended my 85-year-old father and my father ended up offering her his gold catholic medallion necklace (a family heirloom) and SHE TOOK it knowing he was old and lonely; she took advantage of this and of his generosity. If you are looking for senior apartments in San Diego, look no further. The Manor is such a pleasure to live at. My in-laws live here. The staff is always very friendly and quick to resolve any issues. Location is super convenient, especially living close to Balboa Park. St. Paul's Manor offers best value for money when it comes to independent senior living. Definitely worth looking into it if you're considering senior apartments. Truly, such an amazing place to call home.
We were looking for senior condos in San Diego for my father, however with the expensive housing market we had to find the next best alternative. After making calls to several elderly communities we decided to go with the Manor apartments. The building is clean and the food is super good. I highly recommend it for your loved ones.
