I went in yesterday at short notice for an ACL reconstruction on my knee. The staff were amazing from start to finish. I went in at 7am and left at 10pm. I felt cared for throughout and they couldn't have done more for me. I had a room to myself which made the wait to go into surgery much easier. The surgical and recovery teams were brilliant. All in all this is a fantastic hospital and we are incredibly lucky to have this in Cornwall.
We attend several clinics here for various health issues and they are always punctual, the facilities are clean, and the staff (medical and reception alike) are absolutely lovely. A real credit to the NHS, this little hospital!
Had a knee replacement with Mr Easawaran.... most amazing surgeon....the anaesthetist was spot on..no after sickness no fainting no coming round during op...an amazing experience all round ....painful of course..but managed so well by the whole team. 5 weeks money I am off for my check up and the scar is healed just surface tissues peeling....wow..what a team!!! My level of pain daily b4 was 10...now I caan say 4 o5 and some days just that rat gnawing away...thanks to animating tram at St Micheal's Hayle.
I had to go to St Michael’s as I broke my hand , all I have to say what a positive experience I had , from the wonderful woman on reception called Lorraine who greeted me with a smile , to the wonderful efficient Demi who was making sure everybody got to go wherever they were needed , which she did so with a smile , it made such a difference to see such incredible staff , many thanks St Michael’s , love Tracy
I had Breast Surgery yesterday (18th) . I stayed in over night. The care given was exceptionally good, I have nothing but admiration for the team here .
