When my wife passed away last year the folks at St. Matthew's went above and beyond to be sure everything was 100% perfect. They also worked VERY WELL with our funeral director. Our family couldn't have asked for a better professional relationship.
One would think time would be taken to cut the lawn and trim the bushes for Father’s Day, knowing the high volume of people that would be visiting the cemetery and their loved ones during the special day! The lawn Was at least 5 inches tall, maybe 7, The bushes throughout the grounds Haven’t been trimmed in who knows how long, The place is a mess and looks almost abandoned. Th staff at St Matthews and Chaplain Fink were wonderful in helping us plan and have a small ceremony for a dear loved one that suddenly passed. Everything turned out beautiful and they were very accommodating! Thank you for making a difficult time in our lives a little easier!
My husband passed away and we had previously bought our plot at St. Matthew's Cemetery. The grounds were prepared for his cremains. When we got there - it was so nicely set up. The chairs, the drape - all was set up very respectable. We were not rushed or hurried. It was very calming. I am glad we had picked this cemetery.
My dad is interred in the veteran’s corner of St.Mathew’s. It’s a lovely spot. My mom will join him and share a memorial headstone. I am pleased with the services offered by the staff and would recommend visiting them to preplan your requirements.
