I loved Dr Taylor so much! She was kind, informative and so sweet. From the beginning to the front desk to the nurse who brought me back, it was a joy! I usually feel a little embarrassed but Dr Taylor is such a kind person— she listened and offered helpful books and apps, options and suggestions. Totally happy with the care team here!!!
I had my first appointment here today and I can't express how nice everyone was to me! My anxiety went away instantly! James Izzano was very professional and made me feel safe! I've never had a male OB before and I appreciate how welcoming and understanding he was! Alisa Amell was also super sweet and helpful, she really helped me with my concerns and anxiety. Like near everything else in Amsterdam, Sub-par at best. My wife’s wishes weren’t respected from the beginning. The birth plan wasn’t one she wanted, the prenatal coordinator was insulting and condescending and the maternity ward at the hospital they “deliver” at, the birthing center at St Mary’s, is like a mini prison. Thanks but no thanks. We have lived and learned. There’s alot of choices when it comes to your prenatal care and my wife and I suggest choosing elsewhere!
Went to see James Izzano for the first and last time. I’ve never felt so embarrassed or ashamed of myself before meeting him. He completely brushed off anything I had to say about MY body and he kept looking me up and down and went on FOR OVER AN HOUR about how all my problems are because I’m “over weight”. I only went there for a pap-smear… I’m in complete shock anyone would talk to me like this, yet anyone else. SPECIALLY A DOCTOR.
