Even when busy they do what they can and always go above and beyond. Today july 29th i went into the ER mins before noon and probably checked in right at noon… the staff was absolutely amazing. I had to have xrays i had to have a ct scan, not only were the nurses in the er very pleasant but they were in those other departments too! I hear a lot of negativity about emergency staff not being quick enough when they are being as quick as they possibly can and i want to show them some appreciation and recognition for that. The doctors are great but that's IF you ever get seen. If you don't arrive in an ambulance, expect to wait 5+ hours to MAYBE get your name called. I've seen more people leave on their own without getting seen because they waited insane amounts of time while sick or in pain than I've seen people get called in. The waiting room is filthy, and the poor folks are always sprawled out on the chairs sleeping because it's taking so long for them to get any care. Brittany T says it all. She is an amazing Nurse! Best bedside manner this side of the Mohawk River. Really through, caring, always at attention and so attentive to her patients....She needs a raise, she definitely soars above all.
