My goddaughter was sick had rapid breathing etc. they ran test say everything was negative kept her overnight. Went to her Dr next day to find out she has Rhino. And this is a hospital? Wow very disgusted. Do better

Next time my kids are sick, I’ll be heading north to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. The experience we’ve had at St. Mary’s has been really disappointing — we’ve barely seen a doctor, and the staff seem overwhelmed and unhelpful unless you constantly push for attention. The facilities are also in poor shape: the ER was dirty, the waiting room felt neglected, and the bathroom had pee all over the floor. Even basic amenities like a coffee machine for families aren’t available. What on earth is going on here?

I’m over a month late but the end of August my 3 year old was taken to two emergency rooms prior to coming here. We had been battling a fever, vomiting and severe pain in the belly for a week. Iv was desperately needed and the other hospitals had told us to keep the fever down and she had some virus but what?? We got to the emergency room and waited maybe 5 minutes. serious dissatisfaction and concern regarding the treatment my child and I received during our visit to the Children's Emergency Room at St. Mary's Medical Center on October 11, 2025. My child was brought in by ambulance due to flu-like symptoms and was diagnosed with a viral illness. She was weak and unwell when they discharged her. Upon discharge, I informed the staff that we had no means of transportation home, as we had arrived by ambulance and were without proper footwear.
