If it was for the clinical staff, they would get zero stars. Inept, disorganized, unprofessional, rude, and dishonest; the worst qualities you could possibly have in people working for the NHS. The A&E department at this hospital truly lacks any level of care or courtesy to patients. The only positive thing about this place is the admin team. Formal complaint on the way.

Not sure if i got lucky but my daughter got seen relatively quick. I was impressed with the service received, kids a&e waiting area was really clean, something i appreciate after taking my kids to the royal free always.... Where is so so dirty that you feel like your kids are going to catch something else. I read many bad reviews about the kids department but my experience has been rather good. I came to Same Day Emergency Care at St Mary’s with a GP letter for an urgent iron infusion. The receptionist told me to come back tomorrow, even though I said I couldn’t. She was dismissive, offered no help or alternatives, and at one point just ignored me and stopped speaking — which I found extremely rude. She claimed my GP should’ve called, but they confirmed that’s not required. I’m now faint and unwell, with no help from either side. I feel completely let down by the system.
