One of the best emergency departments I have ever been to. Staff care about patient care, show compassion and maintain a positive outlook even amidst the challenges that an emergency room generally has present. So grateful for the medical support I received when there is a medical shortage in this province.

Very quick to get in, nurses and doctors were very kind and professional and I was able to get the care I needed, great hospital

We were at the ER and my wife registered as per the instructions but was not given a wrist band and then waited in the Triage line for two hours without being called up. When she finally asked she was told to go register. Then proceeded to have to wait even longer to be Triaged and then have to wait to be called in. It seems that the hospital management has change or has just dropped the ball with regards to caring for patients!!! I have to say the nursing staff are good!!

Very kind and efficient. Suspected heart issue. None found. The diagnostics were done very quickly . Start to finish about 3 hours, whereas I had spent more than 4 hours at Royal Alex day before and gotten only to the first phase. Doctor sent me there to be safe and I appreciate that. But felt guilty at taking up emergency room space and time. All staff reassured me that it was best and no need to feel guilty.
