Have stayed here several times. For the money, it can't be beat. Huge rooms, comfortable and well equipped. Wifi, etc.,,,, Very authentic NY feel to the place. Love taking the "last free ferry ride" daily back and forth into Manhattan past the Statue of Liberty. Large house on a peaceful and quiet residential street. Owner/manager communicates well and we have never had a problem, although we always have advised her ASAP when we need an extension on our room as she tries to keep the place full and it only has 4 or 5 rooms fo... read more
will never forget how shabbily I was treated at this place. I paid a premium for an open-ended stay one summer when moving to NYC, because I didn't know how long it would take me to find and move into a student apartment at my university. Some other guest, though, decided she wanted my room, so the woman running the Inn ganged up with her to chase me out, harassing me at every opportunity.
