Agree with the predatory billing. St. Luke's subcontractor that does the billing continuously asks for me to pay a bill that my insurance has already paid.
Dr Palmer did my surgery he is a Great surgeon. I would put him as #1 in Kansas City. Before my surgery everyone was so wonderful. They were very attentive to me to make sure I was comfortable. They went out of their way to make sure everything was correct for me. I could not Recommend a better place because there is none. The operating room amazing the nurses were amazing along with the anesthesiologist. I had such a great experience there and I have to go back next month for my other arm and believe it or not. This is very rude to make you register for surgery at 8:45 and by 10:45 when I was supposed to be out of surgery I’m still waiting to have my surgery and they don’t even apologize or try to inform me how much longer I have to wait to be call for my surgery. Very bad patient concern 🙁

The predatory billing practices and threats of collections are leading to an Attorney General formal inquiry/complaint. I have recieved threats of collections on two separate occasions for checks that they have cashed long ago (Andersen the anesthesiologist and for the general surgery fee). I'm questioning always, how many people just provide a Credit Card number when they here "collections"? Insist that your surgeon use another facility for your procedure.
