This is the worst emergency room I have ever seen. My mother has been admitted and has been placed in the hallway and has spent an entire 24 hours waiting for a room. All the while they are doing blood draws and X-ray to charge the insurance company. The staff lie and are evasive. All of her treatment so far has been in the hallway. So much for privacy. She has not been given food, drinks or clean clothing. This is blatant neglect. All of my efforts to get her into a room away from all the beeping and coughing and staff flut... read more

Let people out way to early. Go in Fridaylet out Saturday go in Sunday let out Monday. Now back in. Letter will be sent to insurance so they don't have to pay ER price. Keep the patience longer instead of pushing them out the door very poorly ran hospital.

The staff is incompetent. I went to the emergency room, they charged me, and my insurance still has to pay more, and they didn't do anything for me. They just performed a brief examination and sent me home.

Went to Saint Luke’s emergency room tonight with my 84 year old Mother who was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday at South Coast Urgent Care. The doctor at Southcoast stated that if she felt worse to bring her to the Emergency Room. Came in at 5:45 pm and left at 11:15 pm with my mother never seeing a doctor. She got her vitals and blood drawn two times and we were told her electrolytes and potassium were low. She should get an IV but they couldn’t tell us how long we would have to wait.
