We are deeply grateful to Nurse Katie and Dr Ng Soon Yin for the compassionate care they provided to my father during his final days. Their kindness and guidance gave our family great comfort during a very difficult time, and helped ensure that my father remained comfortable and peaceful. Incompetent nurses that always keeps patients waiting. My father stayed for 2 days and whenever he asked for the nurses, they always say 'wait' but never come back. It was by Doctor's instruction for the nurses to feed my father, but there were many occasions where they kept him waiting and ended up the food was being thrown away by the next nurse who came and thought my father didn't want to eat, not even asking or obtaining an acknowledgement from my father. My mother stayed at this hospital 3 times. The first 2 times she had good experiences. The only complain she had was the tasteless food. However I had an issue with one doctor whom I felt weren’t very good at communicating with caregivers. But as long as my mom is happy I’m good. The recent 3rd stay however, with my mom’s condition, more serious than the last 2, my mom complained to me; she was yelled at sternly by an OT.
