No compassion on 6700 wing. While has been in this hospital for 2 weeks. Been on 6600 and 9700 wing great people I've stayed with here very night 6600 and 9700 got me a bed or cot to sleep on in wife's room.i asked for a cot in 6700 4 times told they would check with charge nurse. No answer. I grabbed a extra out of waiting room to put with other to sleep on.asked for blanket and pillow a few times Never received. I recently had the unfortunate experience dealing with this “hospice” company when my dad died of COPD. In his last days, he wAs taking 35-40 breaths per minute with secretions in his airway. I had to call an ambulance to help with suctioning him because apparently being in respiratory distress is not considered a crisis to this agency. They turned what could have been a beautiful passing into torture for my dad.
