Don’t bother with this place if you value your life.
As a Patient of Dr. Mathews. I am very happy with the care I recieve. He is highly recommend and I did have to wait a couple of months for an appointment. He is a caring and concerned Doctor. Has many years of experience. Him and his staff work very hard. I recommend him 100%.
After my second visit I decided to find a new cardiologist. Today I spoke with someone about getting a copy of my records. if I wasn’t sure before I am now that this is the worst managed, rudest office I have ever been to.
Dr Mathews himself is great. Aside from the extreme wait time (should inform patients of the possible wait time) his staff is atrocious. The elderly women in the front seem to not have any patience, they discuss how “nasty” the patients are meanwhile their attitudes aren’t any better when handling patient concerns and questions. They also discuss patient information loud enough that I was able to hear in the waiting room— definitely a HIPAA violation.
