I went to the ER around midnight in considerable pain and unknowingly critically ill. Docs were pleasant but a middle aged night nurse sneeringly told them I had been there before for blood pressure scares so they put me on a gurney where I stayed (with a CAT scan break) until 8AM. I broke my knee in two places. They put a knee stabilizer on my let a few pain pills. Sent to wrong pharmacy after I wrote the correct address down for the nurse and dr. Linda. Referred me to my orthopedic dr. They didn’t tell me I’d need the cd rim for xray. Ortho won’t see me without it. Called radiology she said I’ll order it but it takes 2-3 days. Muy mal servicio de una tecnica
Nurses and doctors that don't care or have any sympathy for their patients. I went in yesterday and the 1st nurse that I had poked me four different times for an IV. I complained it hurt as she was putting it in and the pain was continuing after the IV was in. She insisted that the tape must just be stuck on my arm hair, and that's what's causing the pain. I asked her if that's also why my hand was starting to go numb. She took the IV out and left the room without saying a word. 2nd nurse came in and attempted the IV again. ... read more
ER is great for when you get help. But there’s nothing like being in an ER with others who are laughing and joking, while your patient is crying in pain and the jokers get seen first. I’ve never seen an ER full of people who could have waited until the weekend is over.
