The remodeled Powell Hall is beautiful and the SLSO is the best.
Unbelievable transformation attending opening night after a $173MM multi-year construction project. As members, we followed the SLSO all around St Louis the last 2 years and enjoyed every minute but to be back in the new Powell Hall was amazing. The entire symphony was so excited to be back home you could hear their joy in the music. I must say the second half of last night performance of Strauss had me in the edge of my seat. One of the most beautiful buildings in St. Louis with a symphony that might be the best in the world. A thoroughly enjoyable evening!!!
I would have no problem if every single ticket was $7 more expensive, but charging a $7 service fee for every singe ticket you buy is ridiculous. Jesus said, Simply let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’
