My brother, Jarrett Alexander Bean, passed away 9/23/24…the examiner’s office kept his remains in a refrigerator where he decomposed and made no attempt to notify next of kin even though he had a MO driver’s license on him. I called the office on 11/25/24 and his death was confirmed. We were told that the mortician assigned to him “dropped the ball.” I am beyond anguished; our grief has been compounded by their negligence. The ladies who answer the phone who are supposed to help you are very rude. She talked over me on the phone and also mocked me. Told me I could call everyday if I needed to to get any answers.. Very unprofessional and need to learn how to speak to grieving people.
Agree with person below who said they would rate a zero stars if they could. Completely incompetent. I called on a Monday with a time-sensitive issue. They didn’t call me back, so I called Wednesday morning. The person I spoke to immediately had an attitude and actually asked me to call back and speak with the person I spoke to on Monday and ask them why they didn’t relay my message. Possibly the stupidest thing anyone has ever suggested to me.
