Waited over a hour for a TB test due to employee confusion. No apology. Not a good experience
I came here for an STD test in August 2024. The healthcare provider, Valerie K Higginbotham, WHNP-BC, who conducted the testing and treatment was extremely unprofessional and rude. When I mentioned relevant medical history that had been provided to me by other healthcare professionals, including my PCP, instead of working with me to understand that history, she appeared defensive and made a comment along the lines of, “I am the one providing the medical treatment, not them.” She also repeatedly criticized me about the STD I ... read more
Information on the website is terribly out of date. Trying to get answers and Information is a painful process. If all Missouri health departments run this way, it explains why so many preventable diseases are reported in such high numbers in Missouri.
