I highly recommend joining one of the support groups this chapter sponsors for those with PD or are caring for someone who does. Great people and a positive, helpful experience everytime.
I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease 3 years ago. I started going to the APDA for exercise about 1 1/2 years ago and it has been a lifesaver for me. It has definitely helped me to stay healthier with keeping my symptoms at bay! Thanks to Jen, Michelle, Martha, Amanda, Kim, Alex, plus all the other Amazing Apda members!!!!
