Simply superb cruise, absolutely worth the price! Ship was spotlessly clean, every deck, every room. Despite the ships age, there are no signs of wear or tear, everything is maintained in outstanding condition. Our state room on the Ottawa deck was cozy, but comfortable, very well maintained and functioned perfectly. Every member of the crew was phenomenal!!! Wonderful crew, beautiful water ways! This is all about a low key week with lots of relaxing! We Loved our table staff ( Sophie!!!! ) ; and Josh and maintenance staff killed themselves to have everything clean, shined and working well!! They were personable and hard working. Really Wish WiFi had worked, but it didn’t detract from the good memories. Thank you !
We had such a wonderful voyage on the Canadian Empress, July 26 - Aug. 1, from Kingston to Ottawa. The food was delicious, the excursions, interesting and fun, the evening entertainment was always enjoyable, and the crew was extraordinary. We can't praise the crew enough. They went above and beyond to help and please all the guests. Special thanks to the cook, who customized our dinner one night due to special dietary needs, and to Fernando who was always smiling and made us laugh.
