Last night I took my 2-year-old son to the St. Joseph’s ER in Savannah because he was in pain and had food residual in his anus. After check-in, instead of the doctor, a nurse came and told us that the wait should not be “way, way long.” I asked if there was any estimated time for when the doctor could see my son. She said she would ask and let us know, but after about 30 minutes she never came back. Another nurse then came to take some information. Went this morning for my husband who was having severe knee pain. We've been before for me. The staff was/were excellent! Saw mostly RNs and one doctor. Got in and out fairly quickly. I don't like going to the ER but this was a good experience.
Absolute garbage ER. Just got somewhere else. 10 hours I'll never get back.
