I've been a happy patient with SJFMC for several years, but after sticking with the practice through two great practitioners (first one retired, second one is moving on to another practice) I will be looking for a new practice to cover my GP needs. This place is really good. It sucks that I have United Healthcare though. My employer cut our benefits by switching from BCBS.

I would avoid this practice all together. If you happen to need a doctor quickly, but this is the only place you can get an appointment at, avoid Dr. Nguyen at all costs! It’s like he just wants to rush you along so he can get paid and move onto the next patient. He has an awful bedside manner, an unsympathetic attitude, and an unwillingness to do anything more than a simple check up. Avoid Dr. Nguyen at all costs! He’s either too lazy to actually care about why you came to see him or he’s not smart enough to actually treat you. He attended a third-rate, bottom of the barrel, unranked medical school. Don’t put your life, or money, in the hands of such an incompetent doctor. I am utterly appalled by the attitude, judgement, and lack of care Dr. Nguyen displayed. This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a doctor.
