My aunt is dying but she is resting comfortably.
My aunt is staying there while her house is getting prepared for her to come home. Her biggest complaint is being left in her soiled Depends.
I was an ALS patient at St John's Place this past week. St. John's Place is likely good for memory care from Dementia and Alzheimer's but in no way is this facility knowledgeable or equipped to deal with ALS. Almost everyday I was put in a Jerry Chair (Torture Chair) where I would have to support my body with my feet. ALS starts in the distal regions first. At night I couldn't sleep because of the pain.
