Dr. Prakash wrote serious misrepresentations of me and my mothering when I was experiencing post-partum depression and strong suicidal thoughts. I was new to Whanganui and very vulnerable. Moreover, when I had asked for melatonin for the family for long haul travel, he'd asked me to ask my husband to get a script from the paediatric team at the hospital because he knew my husband was a doctor there; his claim over the phone was that he did not know the correct doses. If you are on critical medication you will need a different doctor. Twice in the last 9 months Dr Prakash has messed up the process of prescribing my meds, resulting in me running out of critical medications.
The short stint we did under this clinic was brief and not well received, reception team were abrupt and rude also claiming owing outstanding bills that were paid over 1+ month prior felt very unheard in regards to mental health and wellbeing and have concerns regarding confidentiality of medical file being breached broader then the practice itself. due to safety reason had to change clinics quite fast , not recommended ,
Dr Asha is really lovely and thorough. I found her to be genuinely caring. I also love the Reception area, it's quite calming.
