My Husband was in ER 18 hours waiting for a bed. 35 people were waiting for a bed at that time, so many were in corridors. (Situation was similar at Regions at that time.) Staff were excellent despite being stretched thin. Their techniques, efficiency, clear explanations, questions as to our needs were all consistently good and kind.

Had heart surgery there. Surgeons were ok but the nursing staff on the recovery floor....well, let's just say don't go to this hospital. Nurses take oaths and pledges to render compassionate care. Not at this hospital. NO post-surgery care from the time I was placed in my room until 28 or so hours later at discharge. None. They didn't get me up to sit nor did they get me up to walk per hospital protocol. Not once. Think about it...their lack of care for YOUR child, YOUR parents, etc....would you tolerate that? The absolute WORST place to give birth. Not only were we rushed to an “emergent” C section after being told everything was fins, but since we were not allowed to eat for over 24 hours, my sons blood sugar was low and they kept checking him around the clock and waking him up. Doctors push fear based models and the nurses are aggressive with handling your child. Would NOT recommend
