Worst er ever! My child was here for a suicide attempt and they had the worst care ever. Locked in a room for days on end. Given nothing but a tv remote n shitty food. It’s always packed and busy in here and the doctors rarely spoke to my child when they asked for updates. They were there for 4 days! Waiting for an open room for inpatient. It’s horrible here. Wonderful staff, very thankful to everyone!! I brought my 5mo old baby in for flu/dehydration. The waiting room was packed but they were able to get us in based on triage. From the triage nurse who checked us in, to the room nurse who got us settled, to Dr. Brian, the nurses who helped place her IV for fluids, all the X-Ray staff, and even the staff who smiled at us as we walked through the unit. It was ok but would have been better if I had seen the doctor. I felt not important enough for the doctor even though my head would not stop bleeding.
They did the best anyone could ask for! It was so incredibly busy, I felt sorry for them. There are no beds available for people (like me) who needed to spend the night and had to stay in the Emergency Room instead of a regular room. All of the Dr's, nurses and any of the staff I saw for any reason were very kind, professional and knew their job well. Your 'HOSPITAL TO HOME' program is pretty amazing along with their staff also!
The Emergency Department was horribly dirty.
