I don't like to leave bad reviews but this was a bad experience. I was told an urn comes with cremation, when I was told to pick an urn , I even asked what page to stick with for the ones that come with the cremation, never was I told there would be an additional cost. I also asked for ID to be required upon pick up of ashes and then the day before I confirmed the time I would be there. I prepaid this sad process over ten years ago. Was very comforting, knowing we were dealing with a reputable place that aids people dealing with major personal grief. Difficulties arise and assistance is available. It's all about dealing with reality and it's worth the effort. I feel much better bringing my girl home. I'm next and family only has to call this wonderful organization and they abide by my wishes. Serious consideration, make the time. It Pays Off and I talk with experience. Be well 🤠
Wayne and all the folks at St. John’s Family Funeral Home are the best! From the moment we met after the passing of my beloved Father he showed empathy and compassion for me and my mom. He explained everything and was patient as we navigated through the process. He personally handled receiving my dad, the viewing, church services and the Veteran’s honor service at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. He always made himself available for my questions or any help needed. I consider him family. Thank you for all you did for us.
