Presented to ED at 6.50pm on 22 December 2025 with Influenza symptoms, having travelled all the way from New Zealand that day. The triage nurse and administration nurse were great but that’s where the good care stopped. I had a temperature of 39.4 deg C, so did not feel great and was semi-hallucinating. The ED was not that busy, there were 5 patients ahead of me, but it still took 2 hours before they called me. Absolutely appalled at the medical negligence one of the doctors in urgent care presented. My partner and i both presented to urgent care as he was experiencing severe symptoms over a course of 4 days and couldnt get into a GP, upon arrival the women in triage were lovely and helpful. However when coming into be seen we were taken into an airborne room, where the nurses checked vitals and gave him a specimen testing container. 5 minutes later a doctor comes in rips the container out of his hands stating “you wont need that” ... read more

My dad was admitted to St John of God Murdoch on Sunday night 15/12/25. The triage nurse and administration staff were amazing- wonderful Scottish ladies. The doctor on duty and nurse Japs could not do enough to help. On Monday nurse Steph and nurse Sarah were wonderful. Dr Harper, Dr Reyes and the staff on St Joseph’s ward went above and beyond the call of duty to make dad as well as the family feel comfortable. The doctors offering Palliative care were the best!
