The wait wasnt too bad but they did not do the proper testing and left me feeling like nothing was resolved whatsoever waste of a few hours shouldve gone to fiona stanley had a much better experience there previously.
Was unsure of where the entrance was. Folllowed one sign which was a dead end! Branches covered 2 signs that I saw. Just as well my friend was still travelling ok. Midland Hospital and Swan Shire you need to put up Large clear signs for the emergency department. And take away overgrown bushes. Its negligent to say the very least.
I rolled my ankle and couldn't walk on it, so ended up at Midland Emergency, expecting a long, chaotic wait like most people dread. But to my surprise, it was actually a great experience. Calm, efficient, and full of genuinely decent people doing their jobs well. Granted, it was a quiet day on the wards, no sirens, no drunks, no drug-fuelled chaos. So I know I got lucky. From my doctor to the midwives and every single staff member – everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. I truly felt supported every step of the way.
