Twice in 5 years I’ve been admitted to St John of God Midland private hospital and both times they are rubbish - my Wife was in St John of God Subiaco the month before and it was 5 star Midland is 1 star - food and service is rubbish - as an added insult the orthopaedic nurse tried to make me leave is child’s wheelchair which would have dislocated my newly replaced hip !!!! Complained and got white washed ! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS GO ESLWHERE !
The staff that work in the emergency department specifically the nurses are actually horror! They were rude and dismissive. Even if I asked a question they would just walk off. The nurses would gossip about patients and staff in front of other patients…so unprofessional. I hope I never end up in emergency again because they made experience 10x more stressful. They really need to work on their empathy and compassion towards patients otherwise don’t be a nurse!
Genuinely one of the worst hospitals in Perth, waiting times are 5 hours+ waiting just to be seen or get vitals done, have people sleeping in the halls on hospital beds and nurses dismissive but overworked. Was there and was very dismissive of my symptoms and case and under-minded my situation.
Midland hospital..... what an absolute disgrace for a caring facility for patients in need. The only good ones that work there are the volunteers at the main entrance that greet u & the guy that plays the grand piano in the foyer. Most of the nurses & doctors are rude, unprofessional & downright should not be in the job they have. Absolutely shameful. Bitching about patients with each other within ear shot of them. In my personal experience, I consistently received excellent care firsthand from the wonderful Obstetrics and Maternity Unit and its dedicated midwives, nurses, doctors, and support staff. What they do every day is truly extraordinary, and I feel so fortunate to have been under their care. I have also received excellent care during my visits to the Emergency Department and outpatient physiotherapy, always treated with respect by caring and professional staff.
