I went to the hospital to have a cataract removed from my left eye at 1.30 p.m. The final drops were put into my eye at 2.20 p.m. I was told to wait in a small room for someone to come and get me. I waited two hours and, suspecting I had been forgotten, I opened the door and looked out onto the passageway. I saw the surgeon walking by.
